Move along...nothing to see here.

August 10th, 2009 at 11:32 am

It's official I am now a member of the "poor sap who lost their house in the meltdown" club. What can I say...it was not worth fighting for and I figure the 200+ point hit on my credit rating was a tad bit better than overpaying $200K+ on a house.

I'm so sorry. Remember this is not the end of the world. Save as much as you can to purchase your next place out right or with an awesome down payment. I'm going to work real hard to pay off our mortgage. ((HUGS))

That's tough news, and I'm sorry to read it. I hope that the experience leads to something positive somehow, and that you are able to overcome the hit to the credit report. I wonder, did the bank make you take out private mortgage insurance on your loan, and does that at all affect anything for you?
